Known as the origin of cotton, India does not only produce hand weaving textile that plays a significant role in British Industrial Revolution but also produce numerous block-printed cloth and hand embroidery which spread across the world. These handmade Indian textiles are unadorned yet delicate. Until now, different regions of India still pocess the most original weaving techniques which is hardly found in other parts of the world.

From the exhibition, let us rediscover these precious handcrafts by skilled Indian women which expresss an original taste that cannot be created by machine print.
