Spain and Portugal which located on the Iberia Peninsula in Southeastern Europe, is surrounded by Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Influenced by the European and African life style, unique culture is developed in the region. Inherit the tradition to fully utilize the material found in the region, various daily necessities are made with their unique craftsmanship and wastage in production is minimized.



Aluminum

In Portugal, aluminum is firstly pressed into a plate and then bended into the desired shape by spinning. To optimize the use of material, the leftover aluminum plate will be used to produce pan handle and other accessories.

Terracotta
Spain


Terracotta is made at Torrejoncillo in Spain. By using the traditional technique, various sizes of potteries ranges from water glass to barrel or pizza oven, are all handmade.

One of the largest glass recycling factories in Europe is located in Valencia of Spain. The factory can produce as much as ten thousand tons of glass products everyday and it turns various disposed glass containers like juice or wine bottles into recycled glass products.
